PartagerOn Friday September 21st, the unique architectural surroundings of Tour & Taxis in Brussels form the background of the collaboration between Silo club & bunkTEK. After a summer full of festivals taking you into a world of dreams, this event goes back to the roots. Back to the core, back to the music.
The line up is clearly built with the evolution of techno music in mind. The German Sven Väth headlines the event. He is one of the leading European techno pioneers, which results in artists and fans calling him Papa Väth. This man is a true visionary. Evidence of this is his record label Cocoon recordings, his futuristic club Cocoon (Frankfurt) and the magical club nights on party island Ibiza.
That Berlin the epicentre for techno and clubbing is, is well known. One of the many reasons the city holds this reputation is thanks to the cult club Berghain/Panoramabar. Two artists who co-founded this specific sound and helped build the reputation of the club are Ben Klock & Marcel Dettmann.
Originally from the United States but immigrated to Berlin is the young Levon Vincent. Only recently he mixed a very strong compilation for the London institute Fabric.
Silo & bunkTEK also don't lose sight of Belgian artists. Haling from Antwerp, Tim Van de Meutter aka Locked Groove, waves the Belgian flag. This talented producer/dj is currently releasing on labels of artists such as Tiga (Turbo) and Scuba (Hotflush). This is what the future of Belgium sounds like.
