Age of Love is the event that spearheaded the huge "retro revival" in Belgium. It came to life more than 6 years ago when Nik from Charlatan, the notorious nightlife place from Ghent, joined forces with Quincy. Quincy was one of the first dj's and event promoters to introduce progressive music in the Belgian club scene.
From the start in Charlatan, Age of Love attracted a crowd that was more than keep to relive the magical nights of the 90's. Because that's just what Age of Love does : they bring back the atmosphere of all those famous clubs from the 90's.
The event proved so successful that a bigger venue was in order and they decided to touch down in the beautiful Concerthall of Vooruit for XXL editions about twice a year. Again, the events sold out in no time and on their latest B-days, Age of Love even filled up 3 rooms at the Galveston venue. They do this by taking musical trips through our electronic past with the best classics and old-school sounds, fitting visuals, lasers, dance-acts and free gadgets (think glow-sticks, sunglasses, ...). Just like in the old days. Age of Love's motto is Respect the old school for a reason !
And now, they are taking things even further by bringing you the very first Age of Love compilation : a double cd containing 20 hard to find house classics that have been fully re-mastered : those tracks on which we danced many times in the past and many times on Age of Love. Now you will be able to enjoy them whenever you want, wherever you want !
The Age of Love CD will be first available on this party in the Vooruit and our first head-liner is also the name that will be opening the CD. Miro's "Spaceman" track sets the pace for a lot more classics as Dave Swayze's "Goldwave", Phi Phi & Greg's "Jesus Trip", Twister's "Metamorphosis of Narcotics", ... and one complete new bonus track "The Age of Love anthem 2015" produced by no other than Red D and Lady Linn !

Miro is responsible for numerous hits as "Pure Silk", "Paradise" and his most notorious "Spaceman". The tracks all made it to the charts and were licensed to many compilations as Global Underground, Renaissance, Café del Mar and many others.
And also our second international act Nalin & Kane made some of the biggest tunes in the history of progressive house music, their most popular being "Beachball" of which half a million copies were sold worldwide. It landed him remixes for big names as Kylie Minogue, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Sven Väth and many others. His biggest remix was Da Hool's "Meet her at the Loveparade" which became thé hymn of the house-generation.
And do we still need to elaborate on all the Belgian nightlife rulers... we hope not... who doesn't know Yves Deruyter from Cherrymoon, Franky Jones from Montini, Quincy from Extreme, Marko de la Rocca, Phi Phi or Dave Lambert by now...
The night will also be spiced up by a performance of Red D featuring the magnificent Lady Linn. Not only are they celebrating their 10th year on stage together, they will also present the exclusive "Age of love anthem" which will obviously include Lady Linn's vocals.
Another night of Age of Love madness and this time, you will be able to take the madness home !
