With the eyes of the electronic music and clubbing world firmly on Berlin, Amsterdam, London and other major cities & countries, it is sometimes easy to forget that Belgium has been at the forefront of cutting edge dance music and partying since the 80ies.
We used to do it for days on end and we used to do it like the best. So where did we lose it ? As far as The Sunday Matinee is concerned we never lost it, we just forgot that it is still possible.
So from Saturday April 11th at midnight till Sunday April 12th midnight, Charlatan will host "The Sunday Matinee 24/24" : 24 hours of non-stop dancing to the best house and techno music on offer, brought to you by a stellar line-up of DJs that do not follow the trends but simply redefine them as well as themselves every time they play.

Blake Baxter (Detroit USA)
Also known as The Prince Of Techno and a man who's discography is so hot you could blame global warming on him. One of the first Detroit people to forge a lasting alliance with Berlin's mighty Tresor imprint.
Prosumer (Potion - DE)-rama Bar. Always giving his all & everything in every single set that he plays. Old, new and in between, Prosumer has it, knows it and plays it.
Nick Höppner (Ostgut Ton - DE)
Label boss of Ostgut Ton, the infamous Berlin label that has its spiritual home in that hedonistic paradise called Berghain. A killer dj and producer in his own right, that goes without saying.
San Soda (We Play House Recordings, FCL - BE)
The reason for the start and existence of Red D's We Play House Recordings label. A house DJ that can make you dance for hours...to anything but house. San Soda will be playing two very different sets during the 24 hours.
Red D (We Play House Recordings, FCL - BE)
Red D is the founder and mentor of The Sunday Matinee. Next to running We Play House Recordings he is also one half of one of our previous guests FCL (together with San Soda) and he simply DJ's wherever people want him to DJ. Anything else is just irrelevant really.
Quincy (Age Of Love - BE)
A legend in retro house & trance circles, Quincy is simply a lover of good music old and new. Always on point and always finding the right vinyl at the right moment, he never disappoints and simply rocks any party.
No Shit Like Deep (Urgent FM - BE)
All deepness, no trends. That about sums these boys up. Tons of experience in nightlife and music they will show you what an after hours vibe can be all about.
Kong (StuBru Playground, Ensemble - BE)
Bringing the goods every single Saturday night during his Playground residence, Kong started out as an allround dj... and has only gotten better at it in recent years.
