The Pollerwiesen Festival returns to the breathtaking Revierpark Wischlingen and will make of Dortmund the epicenter of the electronic party community this Pentecost. With a total of 4 stages and an abundant amount of green grass, sand and lake facilities, the Pollerwiesen festival will once again be the marathon of great times for all party-minded dancers, presenting an impressive list of international Dj's and live-acts.
Main Stage
On the main-stage you will find the "Clash of the Titans". Sven Väth, the biggest dj-icon of all times will bring a three hour set. As far as Sven is concerned, everybody agrees, he can still bring the crowd into ecstasy like none of his contemporaries can. Before the "Papa" takes over the stage, another heavy weight from the international house- and techno scene will deliver a sound spectacle with special artistic proportions. Marek Hemmann from Jena's Freude Am Tanzen label will undoubtedly bring any friend of electronic music into a dance hypnosis with his unique Live performance.
These two masters will be supported by more big names as the centipede under techno producers : Roman Flügel. He feels great on any stage : whether it be in Amnesia in Ibiza or the early morning hours in Panorama Bar in Berlin. He always knows how to move the crowd into a sweaty state.
Next up are Mind Against, the two pupils of the Life & Death label. They have contributed in a big way to the reputation of the label and its parties : not only with their outstanding productions but also with uplifting DJ-sets. The Main Stage will be opened by newcomers Junge Junge who will have their latest release ready for testing.
Hill Top Stage (Hosted by Kitball crew)
The next highlights of the festival are to be found on the Hill Top Stage. This is the place for Deep House, brought to you by Junge Wilden who will be building up the party with the local Kitball Crew. The festivities will go on with a pioneer of the newest deep house sounds : Lexer. He transcends the boundaries in the genre by mixing club-sounds with pop-sounds like no other can. His sound is simply divine and people have dreamt away on them on many open air stage around the world.
From the North, the Adana Twins will be flying in. These twins are associated with the Hamburg label, Jeudi and bring the most beautiful deep- and tech house. Also from the North but now residing in the capital, Einmusik will deliver one of his outstanding live-acts. His throbbing and dreamy live-set is highly in demand each summer and a must on any open air, definitely on Pollerwiesen ! And then we also have, Dirty Doering from the Berlin Katermukke Lager and the further Kitball crew with Ante Perry, P.A.C.O., Paji and Julie Sikora who will all together host the Hilltop Stage this Pentecost.
Beach Podium (Hosted by Vollt)
The Beach Stage by the idyllic sand-beach of the Revierpark will be turned into Little Amsterdam again as, just like last year, the stage has been put in the trusted hands of the Amsterdam based Vollt organization. This year with a menu of serious techno action : headliner is Berghain legend Len Faki, by his side the charismatic DVS1 and British all-round talent Blawan. They will roll out the red carpet for the Dutch fraction with De Sluwe Vos, Anton Pieete and Melon. That it will be hot by the water-side, is already a fact !
Hidden stage
Finally, you can expect a number of surprises on the Hidden Stage, tucked away under the trees. Next to Ahmet Sisman from Goethebunker in Essen, there will be Julian Bomm from the Cologne Rheinrhythmik collective and at least one other name which we keep secret for now. We strongly advise you to go look for this hidden treasure, you won't regret it as it will be on fire. The stage is hosted by IT-Blog Trndmsk.
One thing is for sure, the line-up of this year's Pollerwiesen festival is one big string of highlights on all four stages so you can transcend yourself at any time, wherever you are. This is what the "New Generation" looks like !
