After the success of last year's inaugural Legacy Festival we are proud to announce our 2015 edition on Saturday 20th June at the luscious beach setting of Zilvermeer, Mol. The scene will be set once again for the "crème de la crème" of Europe's much loved artists from yesterday and today. 5 fully equipped sound and light stages will be belting out all sorts of music spanning almost 4 decades, with each stage representing different styles. More than 50 artists will take over the stages, amongst them a lot of big headliners as Regi, Sash!, 2 Fabiola, Bonzai All Stars, Ken Ishii, Felix Da Housecat, Dave Lambert...
Legacy Festival is a day festival, starting at 13u00 and finishing at 24h00. A festival by the lake, surrounded by trees and with your feet in the sand for the ultimate festival/holiday feeling. Those who want to turn it into a true vacation can stay one or more days in the adjoined camping-place. There are many festivals across the world, but at Legacy we intend to create a much more intimate and personalized experience and Zilvermeer is the perfect set up for this.
You told us how much you enjoyed last year's party, so here is your chance to revel once again in the sun to the soundtrack of your youth delivered by a blistering line-up of over 50 artists on 5 stages. You can count on top notch quality, both on the production as well as the musical level.
On the 90's Dance stage, we will mainly go back to the nineties with several main-stream live-acts and dj's. If you have heard it on the radio, you will hear it here. Live-work comes in the form of 2 Fabiola, The Confetti's and Sash ! It's our Life indeed ! On top of them also Regi featuring Linda. They will bring an exclusive set in which Regi will dj and Linda will accompany him with vocals, bringing you tracks from then and now. Next to that, a whole lot of other dj's as Wout, Astroline and Bart Maes.
On the Kings of Retro stage you will hear all the "usual suspects" : those names who dominated the Belgian clubs and international dance-charts during the end of the eighties and nineties. Absolute headliners on this stage are the driving forces behind the Bonzai empire : Bonzai All Stars. They also headline major events as Back to the 90's and Tomorrowland. They will be joined by a lot of other toppers as Yves Deruyter, Dj Ghost, Bountyhunter and many more.
The Tekno Beach powered by Red Bull, will be the platform for those who love techno. Headliner on this stage is Ken Ishii from Japan. His international career took off in our country after his first album on R&S Records. Second, big international name is Felix Da Housecat from Chicago who amongst others produced the monster hit "Silver Screen". And there's more with the son of techno legend Kevin Saunderson and a lot of Belgian high rollers as CJ Bolland, Jan van Biesen, Steve Cop, Zolex and Eric B.
On the Back to Basicz stage we welcome a concept with a residency in one of Belgium's most legendary clubs, La Rocca. Here you can expect qualitative top sounds from the nineties till now. The masters on this stage are amongst others Dave Lambert, Marko de la Rocca and Dj Philip... Classy people on a classy beach !
In the Beach Cabana veterans Marc Van Baelen and Dj Steel will serve house & disco classics on Discotheque. Here you will be able to shake the day away with a cocktail in your hand.
Legacy will take the utmost care in offering you as much comfort as possible with extra attention for visuals and decorations. Legacy will be an 18 plus festival and no exceptions will be made (not even if you are accompanied by an adult).
Time to break out the sunscreen, dust off your bikinis, speedos and mankinis and get down the sounds of Legacy Festival 2015 !
