Age of Love is still recovering from the overwhelming 7th birthday at Artcube which (again !) sold-out completely and celebrated the atmosphere of the clubs in the '90's like no other party can. As always the music was at the heart of Age of Love but it's the crowd that brings it back to life, time after time. And now, while Age of Love is preparing to hit Tomorrowland with their own stage for the second year around, they are also ready to present you a new edition in the beautiful Concert-hall of Vooruit.
Come and join us on Saturday, June 27th for a brand new XXL version presenting you only the very best music from the 90's, enhanced by a lot of extra's that catapult you right back to the days in which we danced like there was no tomorrow. Those days in which the Belgian clubs blossomed and bloomed all weekend long and even longer... a time in which so many classic tracks were made...
One of those tracks "Silence" by Delerium is often described as the best trance record ever made. So it is with great proud that we present you Delerium. It will be their first performance in Belgium ever. Usually a band, Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber from Delerium have now agreed to an exclusive dj set, only for Age of Love. Two guys who sold over 3 million records world-wide, more than a million with Delerium. We know this will be a unique show and can't wait to have him perform on our stage !
He will be joined by Jaydee who has joined Age of Love several times in Artcube and will now take to the stage in Vooruit. His track "Plastic Dreams" is also one of the biggest hits the dance world ever produced. This founder of ID-T radio also made other hits as "Fiesta" and "Que si que No". And hell yes, we want to hear them again !
Next up, is one of the biggest trance producers from our own backyard, Mr. Sam. He started his career with Yeti Records in Ghent but soon got picked up by no other than Dj Tiesto for his Black Hole Recordings where he produced one hit after another. This landed him remix work for the biggest artists around as Timo Maas, Corvin Dalek, Sinead O'Connor, Delerium, Niels Van Gogh, Todd Terry and many others. He plays all over the world but is rarely seen in Belgium so another special treat on Age of Love.
And off course, all the other usual suspects will be present also as Yves Deruyter who is celebrating his 30 years in the business this year and DJ Ghost who was his long-time partner in Cherry Moon.
From the Extreme era we welcome our very own resident and Age of Love promoter Quincy as well as long time Extreme resident Phi-Phi who single-handed turned their Monday nights into some of the most legendary nights the Belgian club-scene had ever witnessed.
To top off this impressive list of performers, there are also two djs from the very beginning, starting with Olivier Pieters who made his name in the institutions of Belgian nightlife namely Boccacio and Balmoral. And last but not least, Cosmo who started his career in Carat before moving on to Extreme on Mondays and many other renowned clubs.
All the dj's will go the max to play all those tunes that you love the most in their own special ways and we will spare no time or costs in bringing you all those extra's that will make you feel like you are back in the '90's. So come and let the love vibes flow for another magical journey in party-land !
