Last year's Retro Beach was the first edition on which we officially started our "on tour" campaign preparing for the big night next year for 25 Years Cherry Moon.
One year later we can say it's been a great year with sold out editions in Kortrijk, Sint Niklaas & Blankenberge.
On the 29th of August we return to the Belgium Pier, one of the greatest settings of Belgium : 300 meters into the sea with panoramic views.
Just like last year the event will start early at 19h00 so everybody can enjoy the sunset lounge and catch what will hopefully be a magical sunset.
We have prepared a fully equipped hall with amazing lights and sound to make it another great night to remember. The Cherry Moon sounds will be brought to you by the best techno and trance dj's of the past.
We start off with Cherry Moons own pride and joys from the past : Yves Deruyter, DJ Ghost, Youri Parker & Franky Kloeck will be representing the true sounds of the past. They made us dance and dance and they know exactly what you all want !
First guest of the night is none other than Frank De Wulf, one of Belgium's greatest producers known for his productions on R&S records and off course from the massive hits, the B-Sides and The Tape.
Next up is Dj Georges who only very rarely plays anywhere except on his own special retro nights at La Bush, but for Cherry Moon Retro Beach, he gladly makes an exception. This will be an exclusive treat.
Next in line we invited someone whose performance is long overdue. He was a frequent guest in Cherry Moon in the early days and a true Belgian techno pioneer. The techno master from Antwerp: Steve Cop.
We go on with Franky Jones, resident of the former Montini and the man behind Enterprise Records as well as Fred Baker, trance legend and the man behind numerous projects like Solo, X-Filter, Groovezone, Madrid Inc, and many more. Marko De La Rocca finishes our list of guests for the night. He's not only thé legend of La Rocca but also known for his outstanding sets about everywhere.
These heroes will get the company of Quincy & Dimi from various concepts as History of Trance, Age of Love Teknoville and off course Cherry Moon itself. They will get the night started and get the show on the road.
A retro extravaganza with the absolute top in retro sounds and one of the most breath-taking views in the country : we hope you will join us too !
