They say time flies when you are having fun and they are sure right ! We can't believe it has been 15 years already ( ! ) since our very first Star Warz party. We immediately started with big guns such as Ed Rush, Doc Scott, Andy C and many more... and you guys immediately picked up on that great Drum 'n' Bass vibe we all love so much. Star Warz quickly became a standard for Drum 'n' Bass in Belgium, thanks to the great crowd and to the point line ups. Soon we became the event of choice for label-nights, special anniversaries and much more. We had the pleasure of hosting many legendary nights such as several Metalheadz nights, 20 Years of Ram records, 15 Years of Virus Recordings, 10 Years of Exit Records, 10 Years of Shogun Audio and the list goes on.
Now it's our own special anniversary and we are very happy to share it with another Drum 'n' Bass player who's been in the game exactly as long as we have. So 15 Years of Star Warz proudly presents 15 Years of Dispatch Recordings. "Dispatch" originated on Goldie's Metalheadz imprint when the Hidden Agenda brothers formed a series of tracks on that label. Following the series came "Dispatch" the label with a first release (Dispatch no. 4) in 2001 from the Hidden Agenda brothers in solo mode. Since then the label has gone on to release music from the likes of Stress Level & TC1, AI, Raf & Ill Logic, Tactile, Qproject, Zero T, Survival, Duo Infernale, Atlantic Connection, Chris.SU & Break with the odd remix here and there from the likes of Polar, XRS, Craggz and Parallel Forces & Commix. Releases on the label have been very well supported throughout the scene from the likes of Klute, Marcus Intalex, Calibre, Flight, Fabio, Teebee, Goldie, High Contrast, Brian G, Marky, Grooverider, Lomax, Fierce, DBridge etc. The label is managed and owned by Ant TC1 who is obviously also present on October 3rd. He's leaving the headlining to some of his favorite artists though...
