"A Night with..." is a brand new concept from the Nasty Mondays crew. Nasty Mondays is already known for its many notorious party concepts taking place in Ghent's cultural temple Vooruit, more specifically in the gorgeous Concert-hall. Now, they will be expanding their reputation even more by bringing some of the world's biggest dj's to this exceptional venue.
"A Night with..." will go back to the base of electronic dance music and focus on pure quality that transcends all genres. If it's a big name who has brought quality, passion and dedication to the electronic music scene during the past twenty years, then he's on our wish-list, especially if it's someone who doesn't play in more intimate venues in Belgium very often. No matter which genre he or she is playing : be it house, techno, progressive or anything in between.
We are resolutely going for the cream of the cream of the dance scene and will invite them to come and play an extra long set in which they can really display what it is that makes them so great. Sort of like a concert-show but then for dj's where we really put them in the spotlight. The first name we had in mind, has already said yes so the game is on.
For this first edition we bring you none other than John Digweed, the man who was at the forefront of the progressive house scene and is still on top of his game in both the house and techno world of today with his legendary Bedrock label !
The international guests will always be accompanied by leading Belgian jocks that perfectly fit in with the scheduled headliner. For this edition those are : Maxim Lany, Quincy, CP and Chantal !
