On the 30th of April Cherry Moon goes BIG again, 11 years after the 14th anniversary at Sportpaleis, Cherry Moon returns to Antwerp to celebrate "25 Years Cherry Moon" at Lotto Arena. Cherry Moon is without a doubt, one of the most legendary clubs Belgium ever knew with a reputation that far exceeded our countries borders. And even though the club has been closed for a while, the legend still lives on as prove the time after time sold-out retro editions in venues all over the country ! For this night we have prepared one of the most legendary line ups in Cherry Moon history with 3 international guests and off course the best Belgian guests our country has to offer in two full blown arenas.
We start with 2 powerhouse dj's from Chicago USA, Robert Armani & Dj Rush !! The first one needs no introduction to the Cherry Moon people, he was considered the only international Cherry Moon resident and is ready to return to his home away from home. His hit "Hit Hard" still blasts through the speakers at our retro parties and this will be no different at Lotto Arena. The "Big Boss of Techno" is cleared for take off and ready to hit it hard for 25 Years Cherry Moon. He's also teaming up with Ghost for an exclusive birthday live-act ! The second legend from Chicago is none other than Dj Rush. His tracks are legendary at Cherry Moon : from "Look & See" to "I Believe" & "Motherfucking Bass". This man is responsible for making us dance throughout the whole Cherry Moon history. Major Rush will definitely show us what good music is all about.
These 2 Chicago masters will be joined by a techno legend from Germany : Johannes Heil ! This dj/live performer fits the Cherry Moon profile perfectly. With his raw & dark techno sounds he is the perfect live act. His track "Paranoid Dancer" is still considered one of the all time techno classics and a Cherry Moon favorite. He already played at 14 Years Cherry Moon and now 11 years later he will visit us again with a special live performance to celebrate a quarter of a century of dance mayhem.
We continue our main hall with Cherry Moons own pride and joys from the past, Yves Deruyter, Dj Ghost, Youri Parker, Franky Kloeck & Dave Davis will be representing the residents from the past. They made us dance and dance in the 90s and early 00s and know what you all want. This time they will present their true Cherry Moon sound to 25 Years Cherry Moon. We go on with Franky Jones, resident of the former Montini and the man behind Enterprise Records. Over the last couple of years he has become a resident at our Cherry Moon retros and as such, he could not be missed on this one either. For the 25 Years Cherry Moon is also very happy to present a special live act who will be back after a long absence, our own Cherry Moon Trax ! Known for their big hits like "The House of House", "Let there be house" "Needle Destruction", "Acid Dream" and many more. A new formation is made and this will be their first performance ! These heroes will get the company of Quincy from various concepts as The Sound Of Belgium, Age of Love, Cirque Magique Festival and now the new Cherry Moon promoter. And last but not least Dimi, resident for many, many years and now responsible for the programming of the concept. They will get the night started and get the show on the road in Hall 1.
For Hall 2 we have also prepared a legendary line up. We start with Dj Georges who only very rarely plays anywhere anymore except special retro nights at La Bush. An exclusive treat. He is accompanied by Phi Phi & Olivier Pieters, 2 legends from the Belgian scene, one from Extreme and the other from Boccaccio.
Michael Forzza & CP from Pulse Factory will also be playing in Hall 2. Michael Forzza is best known for his classic "Kahana" and numerous other smooth techno tracks. CP is one of the few Belgians on the legendary Bedrock label of John Digweed. Marko De La Rocca & Dj Fire will join them for the night. Marko is the legend of La Rocca and known for his outstanding sets and Dj Fire is known for his outstanding trance productions and was even Cherry Moon resident at the end. Add to those Jan van Biesen for a true trip down memory lane.
And off course, we didn't forget our "Foyer" brothers in crime : Mike Thompson & Alain Faber. Funky beats and groovy sound to end the night in true foyer fashion.
Cherry Moon will prepare a fully equipped Lotto Arena with a class A sound & light system, decoration, animation, merchandise stands and hopefully the unmatched Cherry Moon atmosphere to make this one of the best Cherry Moon anniversaries of all time.
