The Sound of Belgium is the documentary that went in search of the spirit of a nation, by exploring the history of Belgian's electronic music scene and the people that danced to it. The movie was a huge success and shown in many venues around the country as well as several times on national tv.
The best way to keep the story alive is to bring it to the dancefloor. A quest which was started at the beginning of this year with an exclusive and never before seen club tour in 4 legendary locations on 4 different dates.
The tour was such a success that by popular demand The Sound of Belgium is now back to let the autumn and winter months also be reigned by classics sounds. And this time, they are completely respecting the early days by bringing parties where the dj's will be playing nothing but vinyl records. The gems that were so sought after and that created genres like new beat and early house and trance.
The second party will take place in H2O close to the French border from where it has been attracting a lot of electronic music fans since the early days. It's a famous place that is celebrating its 20th anniversary as we speak and it will be the last year that H2O will be open as we know it. It will be a huge gathering as all their current and former residents will be united in a massive line-up including Laurent Top, Johan, Vince, Laurent Warin and Brandy. They will be joined by Olivier Pieters and Jozef Devillé who directed the movie in the main room. In the second room both CP and Phi Phi will be celebrating their birthday and they have asked Marko and Quincy to come and join in the fun. They hope you will join them too.
