10,000 BC excel on the remix of this rude Stevie ‘Sole’ Middleton/Milton Jackson house stomper.
5) Who Da Funk? Featuring Terra Deva ‘Sting Me Red (Clever)’ (Remixes) (Cream/Subusa)
Back once again with ATFC on the mix but it’s still all about the original.
6) Dirty Funker ‘Future’ (Spirit Productions)
A well-timed, prog-electro take on NORE’s ‘Nothing’. Big rooms just got bigger.
7) DJ Sneak ‘Fix My Sink’ (Magnetic)
Yousef’s been smashing this for months and it’s just been snapped up by Credence for a full release next year.
8) Jon Carter ‘Humanism’ (Shine)
All wiggly b-lines and shuffling beats, this is a short, sharp swerve to the left for Mr Carter. Valentino Kanzyani mixes in a Futureshock stylee on the flip.
9) Basement Jaxx ‘Junction EP’ (Atlantic Jaxx)
Inspired by the pub of the same name – all four cuts are worth checking.
10) Foremost Poets ‘Open Season’ (Junior)
Johnny Dangerous lives up to his name all over again - a late contender for house anthem of the year?
