Bruno D

Bruno.D is the leading verve of the french band Citizen Kain, he composes indeed all trio’s songs and also sings. Bruno treats music with passion and eagerness as he has always been doing since his early childhood.

Since the age of 14, he actively participates in bands and different formations, mostly punk and hardcore at first but turns finally in 1997 to electronic musics. In this aim, he creates various associations to promote the sounds he enjoys and to organize his first electronic parties.

At the same time he also becomes a successful dj and plays in northern France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. But this is not enough for this passionate zealous artist. In 2004, he now wants to create his own music and starts his compositions with a first project called Sine Vision with Denis Cohen-Scali (Audio recording engineer) also known as Al Core, a member of the famous Techno - Hardcore duet known as Micropoint. But the formation will fail to be as promising as expected.

He thus embarks on a new project which hopefully will never end, hence its name Neverending. It is a new label composed of Luc Deren (from Dijon), Damien Baptiste (from Paris), Chris Dudzinski (from Lyon), 3 activists of the French electronic scene.

That same year 2005, he meets Elle.K Brown. From then on, Bruno D. develops a genuine musical identity largely influenced by indus bands and new wave sounds. He mixes electro techno and minimal sounds to produce a dark atmosphere with fat rhythms and a constant will to remain “dancefloor”. He finally decides to form the current Citizen Kain along with his friends Chris Dudzinski and Elle K. Brown with whom he now pursues all his live and audio projects.

In 2007, Bruno.D want develop his own identity and do now also a solo project.
