Dj Maxdubs

Maxim Emelin, also known as DJ Maxdubs, was born in 1981 in city Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia.
This city is famous for a major truck producer ”KAMAZ Inc.”.

In the middle of nineties DJ Maxdubs became fond of electronic music. He was greatly influenced by labels Warp and Ninja Tune.

In 2002 he was one of the creators of FM radio program "Our level" being in charge of the musical content.
The program informed about such groups as Fila Brasilia, Plaid, Moscow Groove Institute, Orbital, Eu, Orb…
Later he started to work as a DJ and promoter also being interested in graphical and advertising design.

In 2005 he started club performance project "Art Essence" (http://www.starosta.ru/artists_freak.htm).

In spite of new technologies being developed, Maxim prefers to collect LP music.
At present he works as a creative promoter for Brooklyn club, situated in a 1000-year-old Russian city Yelabuga.

He has already organized sets of Anton Kubikov / SCSI 9, Moonbeam / Traum , Lady Waks, Goldie / Metalheadz, LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad / Good Looking, DJ Feel, E-Z Rollers...
