Lea Luna is most definitely an artist to watch out for in 2012 and beyond, as her unique brand of electro/pop music is innovative and edgy yet relates to everyone through her clever use of lyrics and melody. She is a multi-talented songwriter, vocalist and a DJ/performer. Her seductive vocals and lyrics are so bewitching that she has attracted A-list producers from all over the world, urging her to write with them and for them. Lea captivates and lures you into her musical world with her enchanting yet poetic contemporary lyrics and irresistible vocal harmonies, combined with cutting edge pop/dance productions to back it all up.

Lea has firmly established herself as a breakthrough female DJ on the ‘electro-house’ and ‘dubstep’ scenes in North America, who spins so diversely that she has performed sets from as far a field as the legendary Burning Man Festival in Nevada and the Playboy TV ‘Europeans Party’ event in Portugal, to the uber-cool Beatport owned Beta Club in her hometown of Denver, Colorado and way beyond. Now based in LA, she knows how to rock any crowd in any surrounding, from underground to commercial right across the globe, and with several recent releases on Reid Speed’s underground label Play Me, creating good awareness for Lea, she’s now ready for more, you have been warned.

Lea’s debut release for RAID is the ‘electro-rock edged’ pop hybrid that is ‘Rock Show’, which is OUT NOW. Here she delivers a driving, hook-laden contemporary pop song, that has both radio and club airplay written all over it. Lea’s original radio edit is an energetic, twisted electro/rock club groove which combines commercially minded lyrics with powerful synth and guitar hooks throughout, and truly sums up the global ‘after party’ attitude and hedonistic desires for wannabe rock chicks and backstage revelers everywhere This original radio edit which was co-produced with LA based Mike Hiratzka is due for a commercial release with fresh new house remixes in January 2012, and comes with an ‘explosive’ and ‘super hot’ new video to boot !

The initial set of underground remixes on this scorching new RAID release are exclusively available on Beatport NOW and come courtesy of the super talented Hot Pink Delorean trio from Boston, USA, who are currently making big waves within the electro-house scene across the globe, and deliver a bass-heavy, floor shaking mix, tinged with filtered rock guitars, which is guaranteed to destroy any sound system, given half a chance. We also slam you hard with the rather large ‘rock-heavy dubstep’ flavor from upcoming Las Vegas & Phoenix based production team HavocNdeeD who are definitely ones to watch on the rapidly emerging US dubstep scene, having just been personally asked to remix the mighty Linkin Park amongst many others. Finally, the LA based DJ/producer, Miss Genesis provides a tasty funked up and melodic electro-house remix, which is guaranteed to suit a wide range of club DJs who like it a bit tougher.

Lea has also recently collaborated with Manufactured Superstars from Denver, and she performed very well in their recent pop video for ‘Take Me Over’ on Black Hole Recordings (see image below).
