Yahel chabs

Yahel Chabs is a DJ-Producer of 30 years old, living in the sunny city of Nimes, on the french mediteranean coast. Former CEO of the download music store TranceLoad in 2005, and Teknasia in 2003, his passion for electronic music never stopped over the past 15 years.

His DJ life has started in the golden age of techno music, when few superstars like Laurent Garnier, Sven Vath or Jeff Mills have invested the dancefloors worldwide. Completely fascinated by the electronic sound since the age of 15, it was only after his move to Madrid in 1999 that Yahel started to buy vinyls and became a pro DJ.

When he went back in his city in 2001, he decided to open a records shop, Teknasia. After 2 years with that physical shop, Yahel launched a music shop through internet, Teknasia.com, which was a great success until 2010. 3 years after, Yahel launched a download music store dedicated to electronic music, TranceLoad.

From this time, Yahel never give up with the DJ life and until today, he still plays in many clubs and festivals in his country but also in european cities like Budapest, Wien, Valencia, Madrid or Ibiza. Not only on the road, Yahel is also running a radio-show since 2008, TripTonite. The rules of that show are simple: good sound, good artists and a lot of passion. TripTonite is now broadcasted every first Friday of the month on many webradios as: Eradio-One (Berlin), Eilo.org (Sofia) and more.

Social networks have been a revolution for communication, but also a great opportunity for his business. But in 2010, Yahel has realized that the only way to be free is to be artist. So after closing the shops, he decided to start producing some music. Happy like a children when he is in the studio, Yahel is completely fascinated by the technology and will be soon ready with a debut album. « I just want to be free and play »
